Learn through exposure to descriptive wine language used to explain different structural elements of wine as listed in the High Five Wine Scoring System book
Have a better understanding of the sensory experience your palate goes through by isolating single elements like acidity. What happens to our sensory system when we detect acidity on our palate? LET’S FIND OUT!
Be exposed to different wine growing regions all over the world and build a familiarity with wines you might not have known about otherwise
Become more confident in perusing wine aisles with old world countries like France, Germany, Italy and Spain, for example.
Build confidence in selecting wine or asking for recommendations
Broaden your horizons by trying wines outside of your comfort zone
Brush up on your wine tasting skills
Keep track of all of your wine scorings so you can observe the changes in your palate and the wines you enjoy (as well as the ones you don’t!)
Be a part of a wine community that gets together once a week to enjoy the company of other wine drinkers!
You don’t have to know anything about wine to start - this is about fun. Learning about wine lingo will happen automatically by just being in the environment and experiencing wine and food with us each week.
